Narrative writing is telling a story. It is the most common form of writing and is taught to various degrees from 1st grade through 12th grade. Because it is storytelling and theatre is storytelling it is easily coupled with drama.
In this short literacy integration lesson, students use drama as a check to their narrative writing skills to ensure that all elements of a story are complete.
