Short drama lesson that uses movement to teach preposition!

This lesson is perfect for teaching younger students or ELL students the difference between prepositions such as: above; under; between; across; etc.

Students begin by practicing creating frozen pictures, or ‘tableaus’ based on specific prompts, and then moves into work using prepositions. Kids will delight at the fun phrases they will be given to act out, such as:

The spiders are under the bed.
The monkeys are near each other.
