Ages 11 and up. Easy form for students to assess their own monologue performance skills.

Giving students the opportunity to recognize ways in which they can improve their own monologue performance(s) can be pretty empowering. Here is a simple handout to give to your students so that they may assess their own progress.

Students answer a few simple questions with the following symbols:

+ I’ve got it! I feel good about it! I can show this skill!
I’m still working on it. I’ve almost got it but have room for improvement.
- I am not there yet. I don’t have this skill yet.
