Get ready for an afternoon of laughter with this collection of entertaining letters to Santa. There are 31 funny letters and two tear-inducing letters at the end. They are laid out on the pages so that they may be printed out, cut apart and put in a hat, or randomly distributed to your students.
Inside are suggestions for use, but you can get creative with this collection. Do your students need an incentive to be on their best behavior as the holidays approach? Promise your class a FUN activity on Friday if they can follow class rules all week. Or, invite students to create their own ridiculous request letters to Santa, then mix them up and have each student read a letter written by someone else.
I would like my hair to grow to five feet long like Rapunzel for Christmas. Also, can you drop off a live elf at my house? I can use him to help me with my chores.
Thanks in Advance–Ellen
I already sat on your lap in the mall and told you what I wanted, but I’m writing you a letter just in case you forgot. I’d like some new Nintendo games and a Nerf gun and some candy because mom doesn’t let us have any, but she will if you bring it to our house. Also, I need to tell you about my little brother Graham. He needs some teeth. Please, can you bring him some teeth. He is three-months old and he can’t chew anything. You don’t even have to bring me anything if you bring Graham some teeth.
