Scene 1: The Playground

(The setting is a school playground. Children are playing, but suddenly the ground shakes.)

Narrator:
It’s a sunny day, and the children are playing outside. But something magical is about to happen! The earth beneath them begins to rumble…

(The children stop playing and look around, confused.)

Child 1:
Did you feel that?

Child 2:
Yeah, what was that?

Child 3:
Look! Over there!

(Suddenly, Earth appears, dressed in green and brown, holding a small tree. Air, Water, and Fire enter after, each dressed to represent their elements.)

Scene 2: The Four Elements Appear

Earth:
Hi Everybody! Don’t be afraid. I am Earth, and these are my friends-Air, Water, and Fire. We have come to celebrate Earth Day with you!

Air:
I am the wind that fills your lungs, the breeze that cools your face. Without me, no one could live!

Water:
I am the rain that nourishes the plants, the rivers that flow, and the oceans that sparkle.

Fire:
And I am Fire, bringing warmth and light to your homes, but I must be used wisely.

Child 2:
Wow, you’re the four elements! We’ve learned about you in school.

Child 1:
But why are you here today?

Earth:
Today is Earth Day, a day to celebrate and protect our planet. But we need your help.

Scene 3: The Call for Help

Earth:
I provide you with everything you need-food, trees, and a place to live. But lately, I’ve been feeling sick because of pollution and waste.

Air:
Smoke and fumes make it hard for me to stay clean. People need to take care of me by keeping the air fresh.

Water:
Trash in the rivers and oceans makes it hard for creatures to live in me. I need to stay pure and clean.

Fire:
When used carelessly, I can cause harm. If people don’t treat me with respect, wildfires can destroy forests.

Narrator:
The elements work hard to keep the planet safe, but they can’t do it alone. They need everyone’s help, especially kids like you!
