Students—write an original monologue with the theme of ‘Remembrance Day,’ and get your monologue published on Drama Notebook, and on EdTA Canada’s website: www.educationaltheatre.ca.

- Monologues must be the original work of the author.
- Monologues must be between 150 and 300 words long.
- The monologue may be from the viewpoint of a soldier, a family member, a friend, the dog of a soldier, the ghost of a soldier, etc. Use your imagination!
- Write your monologue as if the character is speaking TO someone else. (Not just telling a story.)
- Be creative, and have fun!
