7 characters. 5M, 2F. 8 pages in length. Approximately 5-10 minutes running time. A fairy tale mash-up written by Mariah Beachboard.

The Narrator War is a clever play that includes three well-known fairy tales and one huge war between their narrators! When all the narrators are scheduled to perform at the exact same time, there’s quite a ruckus, but when a passerby sees the commotion, he’ll come up with a very clever solution. They’ll combine Cinderella, The Three Little Pigs, and Snow White into one short story and the narrators will even get to play the parts! This comedy for children and teens teaches how to resolve conflict through compromise and creativity.
Mariah Beachboard has taught acting and directing over 13 years. She directed Mary Poppins, Honk!, Scapin, and The Canterbury Tales for CYT Fredericksburg.
