Sample Scene:
Cat Nap
(2 Cats)
A. (stretching) Aaaah, nothing like a perfect afternoon nap. This couch is calling my name.
B. Not so fast! I heard this couch calling my name. I heard it say, “Luna, come sit!”
A. Pretty sure it said, “Milo, you handsome genius, come snooze.”
B. Ha! You shed too much. The couch is clearly allergic to you.
A. I groomed for twenty minutes today. I’m practically a walking pillow.
B. Well, I’ve already fluffed the cushions with my paws, so that makes it officially mine.
A. Oh yeah? Well, I claimed it last week.
B. This isn’t a tree in the backyard. It’s shared furniture. Big difference.
A. Fine. Let’s settle this like civilized cats.
B. With a cat fight?
A. No. Rock-paper-scissors.
B. We don’t have thumbs.
A. True. Okay… how about… we both take a nap on the couch?
B. Side by side?
A. Back-to-back.
B. Deal. But if you snore, I’m pushing you off.
A. Fair. And if you drool, I’m using your tail as a blanket.
(Both hop onto couch and curl up to sleep)
B. See? Cozy and clever.
A. Just like us.
